Morning Routine

The school opens at 8.45am in the morning.  Children and parents are welcome to come onto the playground at this time before school starts. Please ensure that your child is not left on the playground prior to 8.45am, as there are no staff present on the playground at this time.

At 8.45am the children are asked to make their way into the school building, they will then have time to organise themselves, talk to their class teacher and generally settle before school. The children then complete the morning register before beginning the first lesson of the day.

The school gates are normally closed after 8.45am and anyone arriving after this time needs to enter the building through reception. As they will have missed the morning register, they will need to sign in late at the office.

We are open to the children during term time for 32.5 hours a week. 8.45am - 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.

Should you require breakfast and after school care, we run an on-site provision facilitating this from 7.45am - 5.45pm during term time. Please visit our wraparound care section or ask for more details at the school office.

Home Time

The school day finishes at 3.15pm. The children will exit the school via the playground where we encourage you to wait. The school gates are normally opened at 3.00pm to enable you to come in.

We will always release children to an adult unless advised in writing to the School Office.

Your child’s teacher will come out with the children at the end of the day so this is an ideal time to catch up if there are any concerns or information that needs sharing.

If you wish to speak to your class teacher for any length of time, please make an appointment through the school office, and they will arrange this for you.
